LSAT Coaching helps students achieve their best possible LSAT score.  What we do is coaching not tutoring.  Most commercial prep courses and tutors focus on developing test-taking skills and strategies. However, because the LSAT is a skilled based test, the impact of this kind of intervention is limited;  3 - 7 points improvement at best.

For students who have skill deficit more intense coaching is needed. Coaching is focused on helping students to develop students develop reading, logical reasoning and analytical reasoning skills needed to improve their LSAT score.  Coaching provides the participant with direction, feedback, insight and guidance on achieving their LSAT goals.  The coaching depends on:

1.      An initial diagnostic test

2.      Reading speed and comprehension test

3.      Assistance in developing  a study schedule and study technique

4.      Monthly telephone contacts

5.      Weekly monitoring of study

6.      Monthly assessment of skill development; and,

7.      Assistance in revising study approach as necessary

The participant is expected to implement the plan in a timely and consistent manner.

We work with them one-on-one via telephone and online: we review their materials, provide feedback, and help them to modify their study plan as needed.

On average, 1-2 hours of telephone contact per month in addition to regular email and online contact as needed.

Generally speaking, if a participant's practice LSAT is within 3-7 points  of  the median LSAT score for the schools they would like to be admitted to, only maintenance coaching will be needed (1 to 2 months prior to taking the LSAT).

If a participant's practice LSAT is no more than 10 points below the median of their target schools moderate coaching  will be needed.  (3 to 4 months)

If a participant's practice LSAT score is more than 14 points below the median of their target schools, extensive coaching  may be needed.  ()

If your LSAT score is below 140, extensive coaching will be needed.

Whether a student is interested in maintenance, moderate, or extensive coaching, we recommend that you plan on studying 8 to 10 hours per week of study.  Of course the time will be significantly more or less based on the participant’s time commitment and progress.

The cost of the program is $ 350 for the initial evaluation and first month, and $150 per month thereafter.

Participants are responsible for purchasing all books, materials and supplies.

If you would like to apply for LSAT Coaching, complete the following application and submit the application fee, $50.

All payments are through PayPal.

Coaching enrollment is limited.
